A sterling silver Victorian chain necklace, it could be worn alone or with a locket suspended from the bolt ring. The chain is not hallmarked, as is common with Victorian pieces, but acid tests as sterling silver. One of the circular star pieces near the clasp is missing, otherwise in good condition.

42.5 cms (16 3/4 inches) long. 0.9 cm (3/8 of an inch) wide. Quite a lightweight chain at 13.7 grams.
