Antique, Victorian openwork sterling silver fish slice / fish server. Made 1847, London by Hyam Hyams. Measurements: A little over 12 1/4 inches long.

Beautiful fish slice with openwork and engraved decoration all over the blade. A large enclosed leaf-shaped lozenge with a pierced fish motif, surrounded by openwork scrolls. Bright cut engraving border and highlights the different areas. Great quality and very solid.
