Offering a sterling silver baby rattle featuring a sitting cat, with six bells and a nanny whistle on a black wood handle. The cat is the puffed style (hollow). The bells jingle as designed, the whistle whistles (but not very loud). Well made, no missing parts.

Age unknown, vintage or older as the collar is stamped "sterling silver" rather than the 925 mark found on recent reproductions. Solid, parts secure, in very good condition with honest wear to the handle's paint, and the bells have the occasional dimple from use. The wear tells its own story as this cute kitty obviously entertained the little ones somewhere in years past.
