Sterling Mesh Bag Victorian 935 Silver Coin Purse Antique Art Nouveau 98 Grams. This is a fabulous mesh purse or handbag. The antique piece has an Art Nouveau look but could go back as far as Victorian. The frame has a lovely flower and leaf design on one side.

The other side is simple with the original monogram. Closure snap is in good working condition. The closure finials have a bit of an acorn-looking design. Marked Sterling 935 on the side. No holes or broken links noted.

The frame measures just about 4 inches across, measured at the top. It measures 3-1/2 inches in height from the top of the frame (NOT the closures) to the bottom of the mesh.

It measures about 5-5/8 inches from the top of the chain link strap to the top of the frame and the overall drop is 9 inches from the top of the chain link strap to the bottom of the mesh bag. Weighs 98 grams total weight. Photos taken under low light so there wouldn't be reflection so they look sort of dark.
