This is an Estate Fresh Antique Victorian. 950 Sterling Silver Olive or Pickle Castor Jar from a long time collector of High End Sterling Hollowware.

This pieces are from all over place including Paris England Germany and here in the US. This particular piece is a Rare and Fantastic 1870's 11 tall Victorian Sterling Silver Olive or Pickle Jar or Castor.

Marked with the Hallmark of BOIN TABURET. It was actually made and hallmarked by the master Silversmith Craftsman Henin Freres of Paris.

It was probably made between 1870 - 1900. It is in excellent condition as described above. This piece is a beauty at 11" tall and 3" in diam, with a glass probably crystal jar that is 6 3/8" tall X 2.75" in diam, and all the parts fit perfectly. The piece without the Crystal jar, and the jars silver ring, weighs 283.5g!

And all 3 sections of Silver are stamped with the French Minerva. Its Heavy and just beautiful! A Stunning Example of the Elegance and Sophistication of Original French 950 Sterling Silver Traditionally Reserved for the World's Elite.
