George Ibberson & Co VIOLIN TRADEMARK Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Knife

The high end luxurious knife features elegant sterling silver. And holds two stainless steel folding blades. The case of the knife has a typical set of antique British hallmarks on both sides. Maker's mark of Gibberson & Co.

City mark, identifying the Assay Office to be in Sheffield, England. (on one side of the case). Silver Standard Mark for STERLING. Sheffield date letter for 1889.

The blades are marked: "MADE IN ENGLAND SHEFFIELD", G. Legendary status amongst knife collectors. The Sheffield pocket knife is as seen in the photos.

When closed, the knife measures approx. 2.5 long without ring, one. 1.25" long, the other 1.5". The antique Victorian Sheffield pocket knife. Is in very good condition with some signs of age to the case, mostly on one side and two small cavities on the sharp part of shorter blade please see the photos.
