Vintage Austrian romance scenery enameled gilt sterling 935 silver compact. Scenery appears to be a shephard and shephardess stopping for some afternoon romance while the flock looks on. Nicely done and in great condition. No enamel loss to top or sides. No dents in the compact and only modest wear. Inside is clean and mirror is also in great shape with no damage. No gold loss to gilt finished interior. The compact measures 3 1/8" x 1 7/8" x 3/8 thick and weighs 139 grams. Double stamped 935 along with Austrian hoopoe bird mark.
