Antique Vintage Victorian Sterling Silver Earrings in Old Box (Sapphire, Zircon). They're in good condition. Measures approximately 1.4 cm wide.

Set with blue sapphire and zircon stones on the outside of the earrings, as well as dark blue sapphires on the inside. They are marked for silver.

Will come in very old box, probably in original one but hardly to say. Victorian in design, these earrings date to the early part of the Victorian era. Screw-back earrings were invented in 1894 and were popular until the early 30's. After 1934 the clip was patented and by the 1940's was the popular choice.
