Antique Vintage Victorian Edwardian Beaded Floral Amethyst Paste Filigree Ring

  
What I love the most about this ring is how magnificent it looks when you wear it. The high elevated prong is so unusual and noble-looking that it makes you feel like a member from the British royal family. The top half of the prong is hollow and filigreed and bottom half is solid. The ring has lovely little 4-petal flowers throughout the entire exterior of the prong and band, and 3 leaves each on both sides of the prong guarding the main stone along with the grey agate beads. The decorative details are in very good antique condition. Main stone has some scratches due to old age.

Marked "STERLING" on the inside of the band. Main stone: Purple faceted glass that mimics an amethyst. Ring Size: 4 to 5. It measures size 4 on a ring measuring stick, but because of the high elevated prong, there's more room beyond what the measuring stick can measure. It's more like a size 4.5 to 5 when worn.
