ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER POCKET WATCH CHAIN WithH FOB UK/BIRMINGHAM/1911
Up for sale is an Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Pocket Watch Chain with a Sterling Silver Fob. The most beautiful chain stitch - thin at both ends and wide in the middle. Each link of the chain is hallmarked with a "lion passant" for sterling silver, the dog clasp is hallmarked "lion passant" for sterling silver/"m" for 1911 and H.
A&S into a rectangle for silversmith. The T bar is hallmarked, but unfortunately I can't make out the hallmarkings. The fob is in the form of a coat of arms and the cartouche is not engraved. The reverse is hallmarked J. F" for silversmith James Fenton from Birmingham/"SILVER for sterling silver.
