Antique Victorian Enamel Fine Silver Sterling Brooch Seashell Portrait Landscape. We current offering for sale this lovely Victorian Fine 800 Silver Hand Enameled Seashell Souvenir Brooch with Hand Painted Tropical Landscape Scene and Portrait of Man in Donkey driven cart or surrey. It is in good vintage condition with minor wear. Enamel has a couple very tiny flea bites.

Brooch measures approximately 1 1/4" x 1 1/4", C Clasp has old replacement, and minor tarnish. See photos for full description. Brooch is ready to wear. 800 is the old European "Continental" Sterling Silver Standard.

The standards for sterling and silver have and do vary by country and era. The current US standard for sterling is 925 and Fine Silver is 800. Differences in colors between photos is a result of lighting - flash vs non flash. It is even lovelier in person than in photos.
