Antique Victorian Compact Purse Chatelaine Coin Dance Nouveau Sterling Silver. Antique sterling silver Chatelaine Purse-Dance-Coin Purse-powder compact. The interior features several compartments-where there would be pressed powder and a applicator, the other side holds coins-dance card-the exterior features a small compartment that would have held a pencil. Very delicate Art Nouveau Victorian floral relief along the top, closes securely. It has a very nice patina which I have not tried to polish.

Beautiful Motif & Design, everything Is functional. Excellent Condition, some minor age related scratches. Purse Measures Approx 2 3/8" wide x 3 1/4'' long Chain Measures Approx 4 1/2" The metal content is Unknown. A great piece to add to your collection.
