Antique Sterling Silver Purse Perfume Bottle

  

Here's a small Sterling silver perfume bottle for your purse. It was made in the years from 1880 to the 1920s. I have not polished this except for the bottom in order to see the hallmarks, which are: BHJ.

There are other hallmarks: a G, a shield and what looks like the British Lion. I could not find an identification for this hallmark. This was made in Birmingham, England. It is in good condition - the glass on the inside has several cracks at the top, so I do not know how well it will hold any liquid. But it could be used as a pill bottle.
