ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER HAND ENGRAVED VICTORIAN PENCIL WITH TOP SHIELD BLOOD STONE. Heavily ornate sterling silver sliding pencil from 1860. Has an hexagonal shape and each panel is engraved with feathers and flames pattern with an empty space for the indicia. Has a hand carved ornate gothic style slider and an impressive detachable finial shaped as a shield and covered with a polished blood stone. Measures 3 ¾ and extends to almost 5.
