Antique Sterling Silver Cherub Angel Frame Black Taffeta Moire Evening Bag Purse

  

Width across bottom: 10" / Frame: 6 1/4" side to side by 2 3/4 high incl. Top of frame closure to bottom of bag: 8. The bag has a sterling silver frame that features Cherubs and is the same on both sides. Although not marked for silver the frame was tested 2 different ways to confirm the sterling. It was tested on an XRF Analyzer as well as acid tested.

Both proved positive for sterling. The fabric appears to be a black moire (I'm definitely not a fabric expert). The 2 small change purses and a matching mirror shown in photos is included. The closure opens and closes with ease.

Considering the age I think it's in nice condition with the following things to note; there are some minor tears on interior fabric along with some soiling. Also, the mirror has lost a lot of the silvering. The exterior fabric appears to be in very good condition and free of any problems that I can see.
