607 - OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY. Offered for sale is an antique sterling silver fish serving set with bone handles 2 pcs. The knife is 11-1/2" long and the fork is 10-1/8".

Total weight 7.06 troy oz. Each piece with exceptionally fine hand-piercing to blades. Carved organic handles and with no monograms.

In very good estate condition; minimal light abrasions to silver. Carved handles but that is the norm given its' age. The blades are tightly connected to. The handles with no wiggle. There is a Gorham year mark for 1892 on both pieces. NOTE: the fork blade is prominently featured on the cover of The Magazine Antiques. This issue published an article entitled Gorham's "white gold". This landmark article introduced pieces made by Gorham with many.
