Unusual Victorian Sterling Silver Commemorative Coin Box 1898 Royal Antique
A very interesting Victorian sterling silver commemorative box. It is hallmarked for London 1898 with the makers mark being WC for William Comyns & Sons. It has been superbly designed having a Victorian silver coin inset into its lid, this being the height of her reign.
It is in very good condition with the silver being free from dings splits holes and repairs - just a single minute little mark - see final photo. It measures 1.5 inches (3.8cms) across by over 0.75 inch (2cms) tall and weighs 21 grams. If you have any queries etc...
