If you collect sewing items, this is a must have, to add to your collection. It is approximately a little over 13 inches long from the top to the bottom of the last tool. This has been tested and it tests out sterling silver.
I was unable to find any marks, with the exception of the pencil, which is marked sterling. This is in excellent condition but there is a couple of links which are broken. This does not affect anything because they are all double links, and the damage occurs only on one of the links. It is still very much solid. You might not have noticed this at all but I wanted to bring it to your attention.
I can hear a rattle so the thimble may still be in it, I have been unable to open it up, I leave this up to you. The third item appears to be a watch fob and it has a real Emerald stone on the bottom of fourth item as you can see by my photographs has three instruments including a small spoon, a flat little what looks like a knife to cut the thread with and is encased in a holder that appears to be a pipe tamper. This was used to push the tobacco into the pipe bowl. The last decoration I don't know what it was used for, possibly a hem measure? This appears to have been made by sand casting.
