ANTIQUE PAIR STERLING SILVER PEPPER POTS BOXED shakers pounce salt London HM. A very attractive pair of late 19th century sterling silver shakers in original satin lined box. I believe these may be pepper shakers? (please take a look at my photos and see if you agree). They are fully hallmarked on both the lid and the body with London assay office and date letter for 1898. On the underside there is a registration no. The shakers are in good condition, they have been well cared for. The lids fit on nice and securely, and they are functional. The box is in good order but the fabric lining has some age discolouration. I have given them a quick polish, but they need further polishing.
